The 2018 NLPF Season is Here!

WASHINGTON, DC - The 2018 National League of Professional Futsal season is on the horizon and the competition will be stronger than ever!

In the NLPF's second year, the league will showcase more regions and teams across North America as we create a top-tier environment for elite professional futsal teams and players to rise while supporting the grassroots communities and youth programs.

The 2018 NLPF season will showcase events in the following cities New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Columbus, Lansing, Toronto, San Francisco, San Jose, and Ensenada (Mex), among others - all of which are premier Futsal regions across North American over the last decade. In partnership with U.S. Futsal, the NLPF will continue to represent the highest level of Professional Futsal that North America has to offer and will foster a culture of growth, credibility, clarity and consistency to the sport.

After a heated 2017 campaign, the NLPF Final featured western conference powerhouse, Knowens, triumphing over eastern conference champion, Sporting Maryland FC, in an overtime thriller 5-4. Who will rise to the top this year?

During the off-season, the NLPF Winter Series Tour in Atlantic City, NJ gave fans a taste of what is to come in 2018 as Sporting Maryland FC, NJ Copa FC, and NY Ecuador all took part in exhibitions in preparation for the upcoming season. 

The 2018 NLPF season premiered on Sunday, April 8th where eastern conference heavyweights NY Ecuador and NJ Copa FC faced off in Staten Island, NY. After a thrilling matchup, NY Ecuador topped NJ Copa FC by the score of 9-6. The season will continue Saturday, April 14th as 2017 Finalist, Sporting Maryland FC will take on NLPF newcomer, St. George Futsal in Connecticut followed by the western conference season opener on Sunday, April 22nd featuring new franchises, Bay Area Futsal and Di Bufala Futsal.  The NLPF is on the rise!
